As an Indian woman, I have witnessed firsthand how certain expectations placed on women can become so deeply rooted that they are often accepted without question. While I am incredibly proud of my heritage and the traditions that have shaped me, I also believe that every woman deserves the freedom, safety, and opportunity to define her own future.That is why I am fundraising for a-Sisterhood. Through this campaign, I hope to support the charity’s work in empowering women and girls, raising awareness, and helping to create a world where women are not limited by violence, discrimination, or societal expectations.
My Haldi-inspired Garden Soirée celebrates the beauty of culture, community, and tradition, while also recognising the importance of driving positive change for future generations.
Together, we can honour our roots while helping build a brighter future for women everywhere.
